Volunteer with GVMSS
We welcome volunteers who would like to come stay in Jaisalmer and teach at the Karamsthali Upper Primary School. We have need of teachers at all grade levels and welcome all with a desire to help. Our students especially benefit from having English-speaking volunteers help them with their English skills. We can offer low-cost accomodations and the general cost of living in Jaisalmer is low.

Donate Money
GVMSS is dependent on the generosity of community members and donors abroad to continue its mission of educating poor and low-caste children. Donations cover the operating expenses of the school (rent, utilities, stipends for two teachers, and teaching supplies for the children), durable goods (floor mattresses for the children to sit, fans, blackboards, desks for teachers), and major capital expenditures (fixing the school building and roof after a major earthquake in 2008).
Sponsor a Child
We are currently working to establish a way for donors to sponsor an individual child to attend school. Through this, we hope to be able to increase attendance in our school and expand to be able to offer schooling through the 10th class (we currently stop at 8th class).
